Skincare gift set boxes are presentation boxes sized to a set of skincare products, most often a 30 ml serum with a 50 ml cream and sometimes a balm or an eye product.
They use a drawer, a sleeve and tray or a magnetic lid, and an insert with a cut-out for each container. They are made to your bottles and printed with your branding.
A skincare set box holds a short routine in one pack.
The usual pairing is a serum in a 30 ml dropper bottle beside a 50 ml cream jar, and a trio adds a balm, an eye cream or a cleanser.
The box is more than a bigger carton. Each container has its own cut-out in an insert, the dropper stands upright so the pipette does not leak, and the whole thing opens like a gift rather than a delivery.
The boxes in our photos show a cream drawer box with a gold tray, a magnetic box with a foam insert for a serum and cream, and a sleeve and tray in blush holding a serum and a small tube.
Sets are how a new skincare brand gets a customer to try two products at once, and how a clinic sends a patient home with a routine.
The box is what makes the bundle feel planned.
Single-product cartons for the same bottles are in our skincare packaging range, which is worth matching so the set and the refills look related.
Decide first whether the set stands or lies flat.
Standing, a 30 ml dropper bottle is about 100 mm tall with its pipette and 35 mm wide, and a 50 ml jar is about 45 mm tall and 55 mm wide. The box needs about 110 mm of inside height and a footprint of about 130 x 100 mm.
Lying flat, the same two items need a footprint of about 170 x 120 mm but only 60 mm of height. Flat sets suit a sleeve and tray, standing sets suit a magnetic lid or a drawer.
Our individual serum boxes for dropper bottles show the single carton size for the same bottle, which helps when the set and the single need to line up on a shelf.
All three work.
The choice depends on how the set is sold and what the opening should feel like.
| Style | How it opens | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Drawer box | Inner tray slides out of a rigid outer, often with a ribbon pull | Standing serum and jar sets, clinic retail |
| Sleeve and tray | Printed sleeve slides off a folding or rigid tray | Flat trios, lower cost, large print panel |
| Magnetic flap | Lid lifts on a hinge and clicks shut on a magnet | Premium duos, gifting, sets kept on a shelf |
| Lid and base | Lift-off lid, two pieces | Four piece routines, deeper sets |
A standing dropper bottle is top heavy because the pipette bulb sits above the glass.
A hole cut to the bottle diameter in a card platform, set about 20 mm above the base, holds it straight without touching the bulb.
Jars are the opposite: short and wide. A jar cut-out needs to clear the lid, which is often 2 to 3 mm wider than the body, and sit deep enough that the jar does not lift the box lid.
Foam inserts do the same job with more grip, and they are the usual choice for glass. Card inserts print in your colour and cost less. Both are made on request and shown on the proof.
Most skincare set boxes are rigid greyboard with a printed wrap, because the set is heavier than a single carton and the box is meant to be kept.
A folding tray with a rigid-feel sleeve is a lighter option for a trio of tubes.
The usual skincare look is a plain wrap in cream, blush or sage with a foil logo. Rose gold and copper foil sit well on cream board, and an embossed leaf or line pattern adds texture without ink. Board, rigid and finish options are available on request.
Soft touch lamination keeps the wrap free of fingerprints at a clinic desk. A textured or linen board is an option for brands that want the paper itself to carry the quality.
The lid lining is seen before any product is touched, so it is the right place for a short line about the routine: which product first, morning or night, how much to use.
A step card tucked over the tray does the same job and can be swapped per set without changing the box print. Many clinics print the routine on the card and leave the box lining plain.
If the set is a launch, a line about the brand on the inside of the sleeve reads as personal. Keep it to two sentences in a type size that can be read while holding the box. The launch packaging checklist for skincare brands lists what else has to appear on the pack.
Glass serums and jars in one box are the main risk.
The insert keeps them apart, and a tissue layer over the top stops the lid rubbing the jar label.
A drawer box should be posted with a band or a sticker holding the drawer shut. A magnetic lid holds itself, and a lid and base box needs a tissue wrap or a snug outer.
For trade orders, rigid set boxes nest in cases of six. Tell us the case size you want and we match the box dimensions to it.
This order of decisions avoids a redesign later.
Changing the jar after the insert is cut is the expensive one.
A new 50 ml jar from a different supplier can be 4 mm wider, and the cut-out no longer fits.
Making the box far larger than the set is the next. Empty space round two small bottles looks like padding. Size the insert tight and let the wrap carry the quality.
Printing the full ingredient list on the gift box is the third. That text belongs on the single cartons and the containers. The set box needs the product names, the sizes and the brand. The matching single carton for the jar is our cream jar box for 50 ml jars.
Send us the containers in the set with their sizes, standing or flat, the style you want and the quantity.
If you can post or photograph the actual bottles, the insert fits first time.
A free design proof shows the wrap, the inside and the insert layout before anything is cut. Prices are quoted per order from £0.25 per unit and confirmed on a written quote.
After you approve the proof, production takes 4–6 business days and free tracked delivery reaches UK addresses in 2–3 business days. A misprint or damage in transit, reported with photos inside 10 days, is reprinted or refunded. Upload your logo and the set details on our Design Your Packaging page to begin.
Choose a real photo of the box you have in mind, put your logo on it, pick a colour and finish, and send it over. Our designers turn it into a free, print-ready proof.

The more we know about what goes inside, the bottle or jar, the quantity and the look you are after, the sharper the price. A packaging specialist replies within one business day with a written quote and a free design proof.

Yes. A platform insert with a hole cut to the bottle diameter holds the dropper straight without touching the pipette bulb.
A sleeve and tray usually costs less, since the tray can be folding board. A rigid drawer box costs more and feels heavier.
Only if the new jar is the same size. The insert is cut to each container, so a wider jar needs a new insert.
Foam or card inserts are available on request. Foam grips glass better; card prints in your colour and costs less.
Yes. Foil stamping in gold, rose gold, copper or silver is an option on the wrap, and embossing can be added with it.
Yes. Inside print on the lid lining or the sleeve is available, or we leave it plain and you add a step card.
Yes. The magnet holds the lid shut in transit, and the insert keeps the glass from touching. Use a snug outer for single orders.
Yes, if we print both. Send the single carton artwork and we match the wrap colour and foil on the set box.
Quantities are quoted per order. Tell us the number of sets and we price that run on a written quote.
