Can one box hold both a roll-on and a dropper bottle?
Yes, with a card or foam insert cut for each shape. Send both vials and we size the two cut-outs separately.

Written prices from £0.25 a box. Free proof, made in 4–6 business days, free tracked UK delivery.
Small printed cartons and rigid sets for roll-on tubes, dropper bottles and attar vials, made to the exact glass you fill. Single tuck cartons, drawer boxes for three, and foam-lined sets for four or more.

| Vial | Typical box size |
|---|---|
| 6 ml attar bottle | About 28 x 28 x 70 mm |
| 10 ml roll-on tube | About 20 x 20 x 90 mm |
| 30 ml dropper bottle | About 37 x 37 x 105 mm |
| Three 10 ml roll-ons | About 95 x 40 x 110 mm drawer box |
Perfume oil boxes are small cartons or rigid boxes made for vials of oil-based fragrance rather than sprays.
They hold roll-on tubes, dropper bottles or attar vials between about 3 ml and 30 ml, singly or as a set with an insert. Each box is made to your vial and confirmed on a written quote.
A perfume oil box is a small printed carton made for a vial that holds oil rather than a spray.
Most hold one roll-on tube, dropper bottle or attar vial between 3 ml and 30 ml.
The photos show the three shapes we make most. A tall straight tuck end carton for a single bottle, a rigid lid and base with foam cut-outs for four vials, and a drawer box with three roll-ons standing side by side.
Because the glass is small and heavy for its size, the box does more work than a normal perfume carton. It has to hold the vial still and keep the cap from working loose in a handbag.
Roll-on and dropper formats are the usual way to sell concentrated oils, so the brands are varied.
The box is often the only branding the buyer sees, since the vial itself carries a narrow label.
Attar and oud sellers who want a heavier presentation can compare our attar and oud boxes with inserts before deciding.
Measure the vial with its cap on, then add roughly 3 mm on width and depth and 4 mm on height.
A 10 ml roll-on is usually around 16 mm wide and 85 mm tall, so the carton ends up close to 20 x 20 x 90 mm.
Dropper bottles are wider than roll-ons and the bulb adds height. A 30 ml dropper is commonly 33 mm across and 100 mm tall with the pipette fitted.
If you sell several sizes, send each one. We make a separate carton for each vial, so nothing rattles and nothing has to be forced in.
| Vial | Typical vial size | Typical carton |
|---|---|---|
| 3 ml attar tola bottle | About 20 mm wide, 55 mm tall | Around 25 x 25 x 60 mm |
| 6 ml attar bottle | About 24 mm wide, 65 mm tall | Around 28 x 28 x 70 mm |
| 10 ml roll-on tube | About 16 mm wide, 85 mm tall | Around 20 x 20 x 90 mm |
| 12 ml roll-on tube | About 19 mm wide, 95 mm tall | Around 23 x 23 x 100 mm |
| 30 ml dropper bottle | About 33 mm wide, 100 mm tall | Around 37 x 37 x 105 mm |
For a single vial, a straight tuck end carton in boxboard of roughly 350 to 400 gsm is the common choice.
It folds flat, glues on one seam and takes full colour print well.
A reverse tuck end closes top and bottom in opposite directions. That gives a slightly firmer hold on a tall thin carton, which matters when the vial weighs more than the box.
Sets of three or more usually move up to a wrapped greyboard box or a drawer box. Board, rigid and finish options are available on request, and the differences between tuck, drawer and lid styles are set out in our guide to cosmetic box styles.
A loose vial is the main cause of chipped caps and leaked oil.
The fix is either a tight carton or an insert that grips the glass.
Card inserts are the usual option for single tuck cartons. A folded card platform with a punched hole holds the neck, so the vial cannot slide up into the tuck flap.
Foam inserts suit rigid sets, like the four-vial box in the photos. The cut-outs are made to your vial diameter so each bottle lifts out with a fingertip. Card, foam or tissue inserts are available on request.
Oil brands tend to go dark and plain, with a logo in foil.
Black or deep navy board with a gold or copper foil logo is an option that photographs well for a product page.
Soft touch lamination gives a velvet feel that suits the attar market. Gloss shows fingerprints on dark colours, so most buyers choose matt or soft touch as their lamination option. You can see how each finish behaves on dark board in our page on foil, spot UV and soft touch finishes.
Both folding and rigid boxes can be printed inside. A short note on the oil, or how to apply a roll-on to pulse points, fits neatly inside a lid.
A discovery set of oils sells well at markets and online because the buyer gets to try several scents.
The box needs a cut-out per vial, spaced so labels can be read without lifting them.
The drawer box in the photos holds three 10 ml roll-ons upright in a card tray. A ribbon pull on the drawer front helps, since a tight drawer is awkward with one hand.
For larger sets with spray vials as well as oils, see our perfume sample and discovery boxes, which hold 2 ml atomisers in slotted inserts.
Perfume oil leaves a translucent mark on uncoated board if a drop reaches it.
Even a wiped roll-on ball can transfer a film to the inside of the carton over a few weeks.
A lamination option on the outside stops marks showing through. Inside, a card insert keeps the vial away from the printed walls.
Ask your filler to cap vials tightly and shrink band the neck if you post them. Then the box only has to do its job on the shelf and in the parcel.
The most common is ordering a 30 ml carton for a 30 ml roll-on and a 30 ml dropper at the same time.
They are different shapes, and one of them will rattle.
Another is tiny type. A 20 mm wide panel does not have room for a paragraph, so keep the front to the name and the scent and move the rest to a side panel.
Dark board with black ink is the third. One colour black on black board is invisible, so plan a foil or a white underprint option. You can test a layout on each panel in Design Your Packaging before you order.
Ordering takes one message.
Quantities are quoted per order, from £0.25 per unit, and the written quote fixes the figure before anything is made.
A misprint or a crushed carton, photographed and reported inside 10 days, gets reprinted or refunded.
That covers parcel damage as well as print faults.

Yes, with a card or foam insert cut for each shape. Send both vials and we size the two cut-outs separately.
Around 20 x 20 x 60 mm, for a 3 ml attar or sample vial. Smaller than that and the tuck flaps become hard to fold cleanly.
Foam inserts are an option on rigid sets, and card inserts on tuck cartons. Both are made to your vial diameter and confirmed on the proof.
The box cannot seal the vial, so a tight cap and a shrink band on the neck do that job. The insert keeps the vial upright so the ball is not pressed against the board.
Yes, the inside faces print on folding and rigid versions alike. A lid interior or an inner flap works well for notes and application tips.
Tuck end cartons come flat and fold in seconds. Rigid lid and base sets and drawer boxes arrive assembled with the insert fitted.
Boxboard in the 350 to 400 gsm range is the usual option for a single roll-on. Heavier board or a rigid build is available on request for heavier glass.
Yes, the tall black carton in the photos is for a 50 ml bottle. Measure it with the cap on and we make the carton to suit.
Each order is priced on the number you ask for, and the written quote covers that run.
Yes. The rest of our perfume and fragrance packaging range covers 30 ml to 100 ml sprays, so the oil carton can match the full-size box.
